Professor Gabriël A. Moens Law Library
This historic event will be held on Tuesday 4th April at the South Wing building of Sheridan Institute of Higher Education on Suite 1, 10 Nash Street, Perth WA 6000 at 6.30 pm (for a 7 pm commencement). The opening of Professor Gabriël A. Moens Law Library is associated with Sheridan’s LLB course being fully approved by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA).
Emeritus Professor Gabriël A. Moens AM is one of the principal members of Sheridan’s LLB Advisory Committee. He is a former Law Dean and Pro-Vice-Chancellor at Murdoch University. Professor Moens is an award-winning educator and university administrator who was awarded a member of the Order of Australia (AM) Medal for his significant service to higher education. In 2003, the Prime Minister of Australia awarded him the Australian Centenary Medal for services to legal education.

On this special occasion The Right Honourable the Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas (The City of Perth) will unveil the plaque that commemorates the official opening of the law library in Perth CBD.
